Allegiance Capital Corporation’s Jeffrey Gross was a guest speaker at the NORA (National Oil Recyclers Association), an Association of Responsible Recyclers of Used Oil and Related Materials, Annual Recycling Conference and Trade Show held November 7th, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, Florida. Allegiance Capital Corporation is a Dallas based private investment bank specializing in the lower middle market.

Jeffrey Gross, Vice President at Allegiance Capital Corporation, was asked to co-present “Future Trends in Oil Recycling Technology” led by Dan Cowart, Founder and CEO of Aaron Oil Company, Inc.

“Green” focused private equity funds disrupted the used oil recycling industry with heavy investments in one small segment: used oil re-refining. However, the investment pace has slowed and the industry is returning to normal margins which is good for established companies,” said Jeffrey Gross.

NORA is a trade association representing over 325 leading companies in the liquid recycling industry. For over 25 years, NORA has been defending and promoting the liquid recycling industry. NORA’s primary mission is fighting the hazardous waste designation of used oil and aiding in the development of the EPA’s used oil management standards.

Allegiance Capital Corporation is currently involved in several engagements with environmental recycling and waste disposal companies.
